| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Kebai Cream on types of Chronic Vulvar Dystrophy, so as to explore an effective way for the prevention and therapy of Chronic Vulvar Dystrophy, providing strong theoretical and practical basis for the wide administration of Kebai Cream.Methods : Refer to the medicine teaching material edited by the government (sixth edition) and 《The clinical guidlines for the new Chinese medicine 》, (Enacted by the Department of Health of China in 1993) .45 cases who are ascribld to have suffered from Chronic Vulvar Dystrophy were divided into case group and control group randomly . 26 patients is treated with Kebai frost and as well 19 patients is treated with Fluocinonide Ointment . Several symptoms and signs such as itch, pigment losing and atropy, ect. were followed up during the period. The detection of T cell subgroup, pathology and the electron microscope result and make comparison. Meanwhile, to observe the best adaptive type and the difference between different symptoms and signs. Moreover, To observe whether the Kebai Cream within treating dose has toxic and side effect or not.Results: (l)Clinical observation shows that Kebai Cream has a good effect in lessening the symptom of itch. (2)Meanwhile it helps to restore the suffering skin and mucous membrane to their healthy color and elasticity. (3)Kebai Cream also has the effect of modulating the systems of immunity. (4)Both thepathology and electron microscope took a turn for the better. Kebai Cream has a good effect in the theraphy of disease before cancer.(5)Case group: The total effective rate is 84.62%, Control group: The total effective rate is 57.89%. By comparation, a statistical meaning can be educed from the two groups, P<0.05.which shows that the curative effect of the case group is better than the control group. (6)The symptoms (such as itch, pigment losing and atropy) of the case group are greatly improved after treatment. Among the types of case groups , the difference of validity rate is found no statistical meaning.(8)Meanwhile, no side effect was seen.Conclusion: Kebai Cream has a good effect in the theraphy of Chronic Vulvar Dystrophy. Clinical observation shows that Kebai Cream has a good effect in controlling the symptom of itch. Meanwhile it helps to restore the suffering skin and mucous membrane to their healthy color and elasticity. Kebai Cream has also the effect of modulating the systems of immunity.Both the pathology and electron microscope took a turn for the better. Kebai Cream has a good effect in the theraphy of disease before cancer. Kebai Cream has good effect on any types of Chronic Vulvar Dystrophy. Kebai Cream hasn't any by-effect or poisonous effect after long periods of administration. Kebai Cream could relieve the clinical symptom, improve the local blood circulation, change the fine histiooytici structure , increase the mitochondria , decrease the ribosome, and turn the pathological skin normal. Kebai is an ideal medicine for therapy of Chronic Vulvar Dystrophy. This study will be of great value in clinical application by putting forward a new way and a new method in treating Chronic Vulvar Dystrophy.
