Objective: To research the status of metabolism of bone collagen in the diabetic osteoporosis rats and the effect of Qianggubao on it, for the objective to probe into the pathogenesis of DOP and Qianggubao to the DOP preventing and controlling mechanismin the hans of metabolism of bone collagen.Methods: After the adaptation for one week, from 47 Sprague-Dawley rats (three months of age, and female and male to be half and half), 8 rats (half male and half female) were chosen at random according to sex as normal control group. Last 39 were established by in-troperitoneal injection of compounds 2.5% fresh Alloxan solution with the physiological saline according to 120mg/kg avoirdupois after to fast to be unable to restrain the water for 12 hours, and repeated it in the next day. Compares with normal control group, in Qianggubao group, bone collagen AGEs, IL-6, TNF- a , ICTP value, IGF-1, PICP, the bone collagen content does not have the obvious difference(P >0. 05), the comprehensive curative effect surpasses the comparison western medicine.Conculsion: (l)Bone collagen of the DOP model rats is formated and reduced,resolves and accelerates, the metabolism presents and shoulders the balance state, the content of the bone collagen reduces; There is AGEs that is produced and accumulated excessivly in the bone collagen , cause the bone collagen fibre structure to be unusual , so that influence bone collagen metabolism and bone metabolism; (2)Organize cytokine factor level , suppress the forming of bone collagen AGEs and/or bone collagen AGEs removing a large number of savings with Qianggubao adjustable bone of strong bone treasure, thus improve bone collagen metabolism microenvironment of rats of DOP model effectively , improve the quantity and structure of bone collagen to unusually change, resume bone collagen of rats of DOP model to unusually metabolize. (3) Qianggubao directing or the indirecting control function to the bone collagen metabolism is it preventing and controling DOP an important biological mechanism.
