objective: To investigate the expression of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor(VEGF),Ki-67 antigen,Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen(PCNA) and P53 Protein in pituitary adenoma tissue and study the relation between invasive and these factors, combing with clinical factors and pathological types. Methods:Using the SP immunohistochemistry technique,we examine the expression of VEGF,Ki-67,PCNA and P53 in 45 samples of pituitary adenoma ,calculate microvessel density(MVD) and also combine theradiology, operation and pathology to carry out statistic analysis .Result : 1.There were significant different between invasion and noninvasive grouping expressions of VEGF,PCNA and Ki-67 in pituitary adenoma (X2=35.170,23.000,19.135;P<0.05) ; 2. VEGF and MVD in Pituitary adenoma tissue were related with pathological type of pituitary adenoma ; 3.The logic of Logistic return the single factor analysis manifested that there were positive relative between invasive and expression of VEGF,PCNA,MVD,P53, sex, the scope cutting off and the clinical nerve damaged performance , multifactor analysis enunciated that the clinical nerve damaged performance, the mutation or imperfections of the genes P53 and the expression of VEGF and PCNA in pituitary adenoma were main prognosis factors which influenced invasion of pituitary adenomas; while Ki-67 wasn't.Conclusion: 1. VEGF,MVD,PCNA and P53 were related with invasion of pituitary adenoma, but Ki-67 wasn't; 2. VEGF and MVD were related with the pathology type of PRL, while PCNA and P53 were not related with the pathological types PRL or GH; 3. VEGF,MVD,PCNA and P53 can be the independent indexs of the pituitary tumor's invasion.
