Objective:The study was designed to demonstrate the expressions of Survivin , PCNA and Caspase-3 to evaluate their effects on the tumorigenesis and progression in bladder transitional carcinoma (BTCC).Methods:The immunohistochemistry (SP method) was used to determine the expression of Survivin PCNA and Caspase-3 in 60 cases of primary BTCC and 12 recurrent BTCC and 10 normal bladder mucosas. Results:1. The expression rate of Survivin in the 10 cases of normal bladder tissue was 20.0 % (2 / 10 ), that in the 60 cases of BTCC was 80.0% (48/60 ), There are 28 little expression, 12 middle expression and 8 over expression. Survivin was highly expressed in bladder transitional cell cancer. A statistically significant differences of Survivin staining were observed in the clinical stage and clinical materials, but not observed in the between T2 and T3. But a statistically significant difference of Survivin staining were observed by the method of Wilcoxon. In the recurrence ones, Survivin has all over expression. There is a statistically significant difference in between primary and recurrent BCTT.2. The expression rate of Caspase-3 in the 10 cases of normal bladder tissue was 90.0 % ( 9 / 10 ), that in the 60 cases of BTCC was 53.3% ( 32/ 60 ), There are 20 little expression, 11 middle expression and 1 over expression. A statistically significant differences of survivin staining were observed in the clinical stage and clinical materials, in the recurrence ones, the expression rate of Caspase-3 was 50.0%...
