Clinical Study On Effect Of Acupuncture Point Application By Kangminling Powder On Perennial Allergic Rhinitis

Objective:To observe the therapy effect with acupuncture point application by kangminling powder of perennial allergic rhinitis(PAR) and the changes of serum interleukin-4(IL-4) , simultaneously its probable mechanism was explored.Methods:Sixty patients of perennial allergic rhinitis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group , 30 cases in each . Both of the groups had almost the same clinical precondition .The treatment group , kangminling powder was used to stick on the skin which was Dazhui point and double Fengmen points , each with 8-10 hours , once every week , the course of the treatment was four weeks. The control group took chloromycetin combining with dropping prednisone solution , three times every day (0.1ml every time), the course of the treatment was four weeks. To detect the level of the serum interleukin-4 before and after the treatment ,to observe the improvement situation of the patients' symptoms and syndromes ,to objectively evaluate the efficiency and safety of kangminling powder.Results:There was efficient on both treatment group and control group in treating PAR .There was significant difference between two groups (P< 0.05)after treatment and one month later of treatment, it shew that the treatment group was better than the control group. The level of serum interlenkin-4 of the two groups after treatment was decreased , but there was very significant deviation of both IL-4 and curative effect between the two groups(P<0.01) .No adverse effect was found in both groups.Conclusions:Kangminling powder had extract curative effect in PAR , it was related with which can decrease the level of IL-4 .
