Cerebrovascular disease has a high mortality and disability .Cerebral infarction disease is a common type of Cerebrovascular disease . The therapy appears to be no effective on the functional rehabilitation. Even though the patients could pass through the dangerous stage, they might be disabled due to the disease. They could not have the normal life as the others. We take the old idea of the cells in the center of the ischemical zone must be all dead without any hope of rehabilitation, and the purpose of therapy is to treat as the cells around the ischemical zone, who are on the reversible status. The opinion is based on the thought of that the neural cells was not renewable. But as the detection of a new group cells which have the characteristics of self-renew and multipotency in the sixties last century, the neural stem cells (NSCs) overturn thoroughly the thought hold by several generations that the neural cells was not renewable. More and more tests have approved the opinion that the NSCs are existing in every zones of adult mammal brains. The group of NSCs is now named as endogenous NSCs (ENSCs). But we know little about the ENSCs, even how they function and where they locate in or migrate to. This obliges us to pay more attentions to the study of the group cells and we should clarify the characteristics of the ENSCs.
