Expression And Clinical Significance Of FLIP, FADD In Carcinoma Of Larynx

Objective: To investigate the expression and clinical significance of apoptosis gene FLIP and FADD in Laryngeal carcinoma.Methods: Immunohistochemical method(SP) and Reverse transcription-polymarase chain reation(RT-PCR) were used to examine the expression of FLIP and FADD in tumor tissues. Immunohistochemical method(SP) was used to examine the expression of PCNA in tumor tissues to evaluate the proliferation of tumor cells.Results: 1.Positive expression of FLIP, FADD and PCNA were high in Laryngeal carcinoma , FLIP was 63.4%, FADD was 78.1%, PCNA was 100%. 2.The expression of FLIP and FADD had relationship with both tumor's pathological grades and clinical stages. FLIP expression was higher in T3-T4 stages andâ…¡grade than which in T1-T2 stages and I grade(P<0.05); FADD expression showed an inverse results. The expression difference of FLIP,FADD were both not significant in patients of Laryngeal carcinoma with different gender ,age and lymph node metastasis. 3.The expression difference of PCNA in different clinical stages and pathological grades were significant.
