Objective:To detect the expression of alpha-smooth muscle actin and the indices of immunology in gluteal muscle contracture and to determine the gluteal muscle contracture in children whether has myofibroblast and disorder of immunological regulation, then to get a better understanding of pathogenesis and to give fresh thought to clinical diagnosis, cure and prophylaxis of the disease.Methods:1, The expression of alpha-smooth muscle actin were detected in 21 specimens of sarcous scar from gluteal muscle contracture and 12 specimens of sarcous scar from second operation of other diseases by immunohistochemical method and computer graph analysis system. 2, The peripheral blood T;B-lymphocytes and its subsets were analyzed by flow cytometry in 21 children with gluteal muscle contracture and 20 normal controls. Results: 1, 11 specimens(52. 38%) from gluteal muscle contracture group were positive for α -SMA in different degree;4 specimens(33. 33%)from contral group were weakly positive for α-SMA. 2, The expression of α-SMA in gluteal muscle contracture group was 4. 86 ± 5. 59(%), the expression of α -SMA in contral group was 0. 42 ± 0. 79(%). α-SMA was expressed in gluteal muscle contracture group which carried a striking difference from its control group, P =0.002<0.05. 3, In gluteal muscle contracture group, there was negative correlation between the expression of α -SMA and the...
