Early Clinical Observation Of Arthroscopic Plasma Knife Combined With Panlongqi Tablets In Treatment Of Adult Gluteal Muscle Contracture

Objective:In recent years，a new surgical therapy method forGluteal muscle contracture had been applied，it released the scarwith a plasma cutter by the guiding of arthroscopy. By this newmethod，not only the patient will get a small even mini surgicalincision， a short-time inpatient time， a fastenedfunction-recovery，but also it will make a very small surgical scarto diminish the aesthetic side effect，because it needs a very smalloperation incision and do less harm to the muscle and the associatedtissue. Of course it is better than the traditional incisionalsurgery. On the another hand，the early function-exercise is veryimportant after the operation，but it always be restricted by thepain、the edema of the tissue，the inflammatory exudation in thesurgical region in early-stage after the operation，traditionalChinese herb is good at decreasing the side effect in early-stageafter the operation；in our study，we had observe and analyze theearly stage therapy effect of the patients who had been acceptedthe new operation with been administered the assistant Panlongqitablets. Methods:48patients with two-side Gluteal muscle contracturein our orthopedic center from2009-01to2012-01had been allocatedin our study divided in two groups, the therapy group（24cases）and the control group（24cases） by inpatient time，In the therapygroup，13male patients，11female patients，average age was （23.2±3.5）years. gradeⅠ18cases，gradeⅡ6cases，grade Ⅲ0case，in the control group，male patients was15cases，female patientswas9cases，average age was （22.4±2.6）years，gradeⅠ17cases，gradeⅡ7cases，grade Ⅲ0case，all the patients were first-timeto accept treatment，they all had the history of accepting Glutealmuscle injection，before the operation，all the patients wereaccepted the pre-operation routine examination and X-Rayexamination of positive pelvic The. operations had been implementedby senior arthroscopic doctors. After the operation，the patientsof therapy group had taken Panlongqi tablets for medicine therapy，the patients of control group had taken diclofenac sodium tabletsfor medicine therapy，one week was a therapy-stage，the patientsof therapy group had taken the medicine for4weeks，the patientsof control group had taken the medicine until they felt no any painin the post-operation function-exercise. We had estimated thehip-joint functions of all the patients at the points of1week、2weeks、4weeks by the hip-joint function score system，and we hadanalyzed the data with statistical method.Result：All48patients had been followed-up in the points of1week、2weeks and4weeks，all the operation incisions were healingof A grade. In the therapy group，after1week post-operation，subcutaneous ecchymosis had occurred in3cases、4incisions，after2weeks post-operation，subcutaneous ecchymosis had occurred in1 cases、1incisions， In the control group， after1weekpost-operation，subcutaneous ecchymosis had occurred in4cases、6incisions，subcutaneous hematoma had occurred in2cases、2incisions，All subcutaneous ecchymosis were healed by puncturingfluid local and bandaging compressed，after2weeks post-operation，subcutaneous ecchymosis had occurred in2cases、3incisions. Thefunctions of hip-joints of all the patients in two groups had beenapproved obviously in the points of1week、2weeks and4weeks，the excellent and good rate is100%. The function scores ofhip-joints of the therapy group in the points of1week、2weeksand4weeks post-operation were higher than the control group（P＜0.05）.Conclusion：Releasing the scar with a plasma cutter usingarthroscopy with assistance of taking Panlongqi tablets formedicine therapy，is an effective treatment for the patients ofadult Gluteal muscle contracture，Which it release the early-stagepain and edema after operation，decrease adverse reactions ofearly-stage function-exercise， enhance the therapy-effect ofGluteal muscle contracture.
