[ Objective ] This research is to observe the status of blood flow images at the decidua basalis after the medical abortion and to determine the criteria of diagnosing incomplete abortion by ultrasound imaging. Further more, clinicians will be assisted via early interventions for patients with incomplete abortion.[ Methods ] 47 outpatients were selected and they met the following criteria: Definite diagnosis of normal intrauterine pregnancy , menstruation-ceasing days ≤49 days, 21-30 years old healthy women who voluntarily requested a medical abortion. The decidua basalis was investigated by transrectal color Doppler before taking medicine. Mifepristone tablets were taken orally twice daily on consecutive two days. The subjects were hospitalized at 8am on the third day. After taking misoprostol 600μg , they were subsequently observed at hospital for 6 hours. The technique of CDFI (color Doppler flow imaging) via transrectal ultrasound was employed to monitor the blood supply status at the decidua basalis after pregnancy sac exclusion . The situation was divided into three types: (1) no blood signals in the decidua; (2) Star-like or short rod appearance, RI> 0.6; (3) fireball blood signals, RI ≤ 0.6. In addition, a routine uterine...
