| Objective To compare from uterine, arcuate, radial, and spiral arteries hemorhelolgy in normal early pregnancies and case of missed abortion.To find out the difference that lie in healthy pregnancy and women with missed abortion. Methods The hemodynamic parameters of uterine, arcuate, radial, and spiral arteries were measured in 60 cases of two groups using color Doppler ultrasonography including 30 normal pregnancies and 30 missed miscarriages at 6to 12weeks from the last menstrual period. Five blood flow values were calculated, the pulsatility index, the resistance index,the peak systolic velocity, end-diastolic velocity, systolic/diastolic velocity ratio.Analyses were performed using repeated measures analysis of variance with P <0 .05 accepted for significance.Results were compared between the two groups Results Mean resistive index +/- standard deviation from uterine artery in the control group was0.85±0.05; the corresponding values in missed abortion were0.79±0.06. Mean resistive index +/- standard deviation from spiral artery in the control group was 0.43±0.05; the corresponding values in missed abortion were 0.40±0.05. The hemodynamic parameters of uterine artery and spiral artery were different significantly in two groups (P<0.05).while the peak systolic velocity, end- diastolic velocity, and systolic/diastolic velocity ratio showed no difference between the two groups. Conclusion Measuring uterine artery blood flow by color Doppler ultrasonography is an effective method in order to diagnose missed abortion and early pregnant. SO its potential to predict pregnancies that will fail and determine the appropriate management regime for individual patients merits further research.
