Objests:The purpose of this study is to explore the expression of FHIT and P63 in cervical carcinoma and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and their relationship with clinic pathological feature. Further more to investigate the correlation of FHIT and P63 to provide reference foundation to monitor lapse of CIN and early diagnosis and prognosis in squamous cell carcinoma .Method:Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of FHIT and P63 in cervical carcinoma tissue of 62 patients (56 cases of squamous carcinoma and 6 cases of adenocarcinoma), 36 CIN samples and 15 cases of cervical chronic inflammation. Detecting expression rates of FHIT and P63 with Pearson's Chi-square and Fisher Exact Test.Researching the correlation of FHIT and P63 with Pearson's Chi-square and Correlation analysis.Results:1. FHIT expression has a decreasing trend in cervical chronic inflammation,CIN and cervical carcinoma ,The reduced expressions proportions of FHIT were 6.7 %,22.2% and 62.9%, there was significance among three groups(P <0.01). FHIT expression has a decreasing trend in the tissue of CIN I→II→III ,The reduced expressions proportions of FHIT were 7.69 %,27.3% and 33.3%, there was none of significance among three groups(P >0.05).2. The relationship of FHIT expression of FHIT in cervical carcinoma and clinic pathological feature:(1) Reduced expression proportions in squamous carcinoma was 67.8% and 16.7% in adenocarcinoma, there was significance between two groups(P<0.05). (2) Reduced expression proportions of FHIT in histological grade I II III in squamous carcinoma were 71.4%,68.9% and 69.6%, there was none of significance among three groups(P >0.05).(3).Reduced expression proportions of FHIT in clinical pathologic staging were 66.7% in stage I and 68.9% in stage II, there was no significance between two groups (P>0.05).(4) Reduced expression proportions of FHIT with lymph node metastatic was 47.7% and nolymph node metastatic was 83.3%,there was significance between two groups(P <0.05).3. P63 expression has a increasing trend in cervical chronic inflammation,CIN and cervical carcinoma. The expressions rate of P63 were 0.0 %,38.9% and 80.6%, there was significance among three groups(P <0.01). FHIT expression has a decreasing trend in the tissue of CIN I→II→III ,The expressions rate of P63 were 7.70 %,36.4% and 75.0%, there was significance among three groups(P <0.05).4 The relationship of P63 expression in cervical carcinoma and clinic pathological feature:(1).Eexpression rate of in squamous cell carcinoma was 89.3% and no one in adenocarcinoma, there was significance between two groups(P<0.01).(2) Expression rate of P63 in histological grade I II III in squamous carcinoma were 46.7%,64.3% and 91.7%, there was significance among three groups(P <0.05). (3).Expression rates of P63.in clinical pathologic staging were 66.7% in stage I and 88.0% in stage II, there was significance between two groups(P<0.05).5 .The cases of reduced FHIT expression and P63 expression were 37 in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and the cases were 7 in CIN. With x~2 test and Correlation analysis, It could be showed that the expression of FHIT and P63 has positively correlated in squamous cell carcinoma and in CIN II, CIN IIIConclusion:1. Expression of FHIT and P63 in cervical chronic inflammation,CIN and cervical carcinoma.can be served as an indicators of monitoring lapes of CIN and provides reference.of diagnose of the early episode of in squamous cell carcinoma . 2.FHIT expression has correlated to lymph node metastatic in cervical squamous cell carcinoma, which provides reference foundation to predict prognosis in squamous cell carcinoma.3.P63 can be used as a marker of low-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma because of it's expression has correlated with differentiation and clinical stage.4 Expression of FHIT and P63 is positive correlative with each other in cervical squamous cell carcinoma, and In CIN,which suggested that FHIT and P63 might participate in the occurrence and development of cervical squamous cell carcinoma together.
