Luteinized unruptured follicle syndrome ( LUFS ) is a ordinary type of abnormal follicle ruptured, also is the reason of infertility. The specific function of LUFS is unknown, it is probably because that many factor make the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian (HPOA) working disorderly, make steroid and unsteroid hormone releasing abnormal, and influence follicle ruptured. Prostaglandin wides exist in human organize and liquid, it is one of 20 carbon unsaturated fat acid. Prostaglandin influences many section of physiology action. Recent research showed that Prostaglandin-E2 can promote follicle grown and ruptured, urge oocyte released and follicle mural luteinization. The normal luteinizing hormone (LH) peak before follicle ruptured can urge follicle releasing Prostaglandin-E2. This study was designed to examine the relationship between Prostaglandin-E2 and LUFS.Objective1 To investigate the specific function of LUFS by analyzing the relationship between plasma hormones and Prostaglandin-E22 To observe the relationship between Prostaglandin-E2 and LUFS by comparing Prostaglandin-E2 in the follicle liquid Methods 1 The study group (The LUFS group): Retrospective studied 20 cases of infertility women caused by LUFS who undergone in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) in the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University.The control group: The control group was consisted of 20 healthy infertility women with regular menstrual cycle and normal ovaries, aged 22-35 years old.2 Methods: Transabdominal Doppler ultrasound measured the development of eggs. The following indices were calculated the sex hormones [ follicle stimulating hormone (FSH),luteotropic hormone (LH),estradiol (E2),progestogen(P)]of the basis and follicle ruptured, and Prostaglandin-E2. Apply Controlled Ovarian Hyperstimulation (COH) long protocol: Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone,Gonadotropin,Human Menopausal Gonadotropin,Human Chorionic Gonadotropin. Took the egg to stay to take the egg bubble liquid for day, left the heart reservation up the pure liquid. The endometrial echo patterns visualized sonographically were divided into three categories by Gonen. pattern A: present a triple-line pattern; pattern B: present an echo pattern in which the endometrium had the same echogenicity as the myometrium, the central echogenic the echometrium line is dim; pattern C: present a homogenous endometrium with no central echogenic line.Results1 Mean PGE2 in the LUFS group was significantly lower than in the normal ovary group ([2.66±0.77)v(s4.8±1.38)P<0.01]. In the LUFS group, the oocytes retriered rate,fertilization rate,clearage rate,good embryo formation rate and pregnacy rate were also significantly lower comparing to the controls, while there were no significant differences in the levels of basis FSH,LH and E2 between two groups. There was finding that pattern C were more important endometrial echo than pattern A and B in LUFS group, it was probably 66.7% to 33.3%; in control group, it was probably 27.6% to 72.4%, pattern A and B were the important endometrial echo2 Before follicle ruptured, the levels of FSH,LH,E2,PGE2 in serum were compared between the LUFS group and the normal ovary group: FSH,LH,E2,PGE2 had significantly lower in the LUFS group, while there were no significant differences in the levels of P3 Correlation analysis results suggested that the plasma PGE2 concentration were correlated positively to FSH,to LH,to E2, and no correlated to age,the basis levels of FSH,LH,E2 and the level of P before follicle ruptured in the LUFS group4 In the control group, the concentration of plasma PGE2 related positively with FSH,LH,E2, but no related with the age,the basis levels of FSH,LH,E2 and the level of P before follicle rupturedConclusions1 Prostaglandin-E2 decreased in women with Luteinized Unruptured Follicle Syndrome, which was probably linked to adverse reproductive outcome, Pattern C were important endometrial echo in LUFS group2 The concentration of plasma FSH,LH,E2,PGE2 before follicle ruptured can influence follicle grown and ruptured, oocyte released, bur not influence and follicle mural luteinization3 The concentration of plasma FSH,LH,E2 is influenced positively with the level of PGE2...
