Clinic Study And Reflection Of Preventing Luteinized Unruptured Follicle Cycle With Tonifying The Kidney And Promoting Blood Circulation

Luteinized Unruptured Follicle Syndrome (LUFS) is an inhibited ovulation disease.It is closely related to infertility. Pro.Shi Yanqiu's academic viewpoint is that recurrent menstrual cycle with luteinized unruptured follicle (LUF menstrual cycle) make patients difficult to conceive, so the treatment to prevent formation and recurrence of LUF menstrual cycle is very important. Pro.Shi Yanqiu considers kidney deficiency and blood stasis as the main etiopathogenisis of LUFS. As a result, the method of tonifying the kidney and promoting blood circulation is adopted to prevent the recurrence of LUF menstrual cycle.Objective:Preventing the formation and recurrence of LUF menstrual cycle by the method of tonifying the kidney and promoting blood circulation, to observe its clinical effect and approach its action mechanism. It is expected to offer new thinking for the application of Chinese Medicine in preventing the LUFS patients'recurrence of LUF menstrual cycle.Methods:30 cases of LUFS who meet the inclusion criteria are randomly divided into 2 groups.15 cases in Chinese Medicine group are treated by tonifying the kidney and promoting blood circulation (taking Bushendianji Decocotion after menstruation, plus foot bath using Chinese herbs to promote blood circulation and promote ovulating during intermenstruum).15 cases in Western medicine group take HCG to stimulate ovulation. After 3 consecutive treatment courses (one menstrual cycle as one course), compare the ovulating rate, recurrence rate of LUF menstrual cycle, pregnancy rate, and HPS Score of High Temperature Phase in BBT between the two groups, and observe patients'improvement in TCM symptoms, study the dependablity between illness history and recurrence of LUF menstrual cycle,and the dependablity among TCM clinical effect, inferility type and course of disease. Discuss the brief action mechanism of tonifying the kidney and promoting blood circulation in preventing the occurrence LUF menstrual cycle.Results:l.For ovulation rate, Chinese Medcine group is higher than Western medicine group (P<0.05).For recurrence rate of LUF menstrual cycle, it is lower than Western medicine group(P<0.05).For pregnancy rate, there is no difference(P>0.05).2.Chinese Medcine group has more effectually improved the patients'clinical symptoms than the Western medicine. There is statistical significance (P<0.01).3.Chinese Medcine group has effectually improved the patients' types of BBT.There is statistical significance (P<0.05); Chinese Medcine group has got better HPS Scores of High Temperature Phase in BBT than Western medicine group. There is statistical significance (P<0.05).4. There is dependablity between pelvic inflammatory disease history and the recurrence rate of LUF menstrual cycle.For patients who had such history and patients who had no history, there is statistical significance in recurrence rate (P<0.05).5. This study reveals that there is no dependablity among infertility type, illness course, previous type of LUFS and recurrence rate of LUF menstrual cycle, and pregnancy rate.Conclusion:The method of to nifying the kidney and promoting blood circulation poses better clinical effects in degrading recurrence rate of LUF menstrual cycle, elevating ovulation rate and relieving TCM symptoms and signs. It presents the ideology and characters of Chinese Medicine, such as "preventive treatment", "syndrome differentiation treatment" and "external treatment for internal disease". The effective mechanism is regulating female procreation axis to improve the blood-supply of ovary.
