Clinical Study On Yuan Xiang Wei An Capsule In Treating Disharmony Between Liver And Stomach Syndrome Of Epigastric Pain

Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect and blight of YuXiangWeiAn capsule to patients with epigastric pain belong to disharmony between liver and stomach syndrome. To evaluate objectively the validity and security of YuXiangWeiAn capsule in treating epigastric pain .Methods : In a randomized,double-blind placebo-controlled trial,a total of 54 patients who coincided with the diagnostic criterion of chronic gastritis of disharmony between liver and stomach syndrome were randomized into two groups: The treatment group (27cases) with YuanXiangWeiAn capsule and the control group (27cases) with HouTouJian WeiLing capsule .The treatment lasted two weeks.The change of their clinical symptoms which come to effect and disappear were observed.Results : (1).The result of the treatment clinical be fully recovered 7.4%,produce effects 48.2%,effective power 37%,fail to respond to medical treatment 7.4%,but the result of the control group clinical be fully recovered 3.7 %,produce effects 25.9%,effective power 55.6%, fail to respond to medical treatment 11.1%.Two Chinese medicine symptom was statistically significant difference in the total effective rate between the treatment group and control group (P<0.01). The effective rate from the treatment group is clearly superior.(2).Compared with the improving painfull stomach and nausea or vomiting, the treating group surpasses the control group (P<0. 05) .and other syndromes the treatment and the control is balance(P>0.05). (3). Clinical trial did not see the obviously bad reaction.We hadn't found significant side effect to suffer liver kidney function etc.Conclusion: YuanXiangWeiAn capsule resolution quick effective Chinese herbal medicine in treating Disharmony between liver and stomach syndrome of epigastric pain.
