| The present paper is composed of three parts: the experimental study,the clinical research and the theoretical research.The experimental study firstly duplicated model rats of insulin resistance of Type 2 diabetes mellitus successfully, which were raised on a low dose of strepozotocin injected into the vein of rat's tail and a high caloric diet followed. Then the rats were divided into three groups: Model group, Yisuling group and Avandia group. The other 10 healthy rats are control group, measured the influence of Yisuling on insulin resistance by insulin-sensitivity index, and to explore the mechanism from the influences of Yisuling on blood sugar, avoirdupois, lipodystrophy, hemodynamics, level of TNF-α,GLUT4. The result showed that Yisuling could increase the insulin sensitivity of model rat of insulin resistance of Type 2 diabetes mellitus by decreasing its blood sugar, decreasing its avoirdupois, improving its lipodystrophy and hemodynamics, increasing its GLUT4 translocation of skeletal muscle cell and decreasing level of TNF-αexpression in adipose tissue.The second part is the clinical study.45 cases of Type 2 diabetes mellitus selected were randomly divided into Yisuling group of 25 cases and dimethyldiguanide group of 20 cases. Before the treatment and after FPG, FINS P2hPG, HbAIC, blood fat and blood flow index were examined ,IAI and IR were calculated and the changes of symptom, signs and side effects of the medicine were minutely observed. The result showed that all the observed indexes in both groups after treatment were remarkably improved compared to that before the treatment(P<0.01), between the groups(P>0.05), the changes of symptom, signs between the groups(P<0.01), and no side effects was examined. It is concluded that Yisuling functioning of reducing phlegm and circulating blood has definite clinical effect, reflecting on the improvement of IR and the increase of ISN.The third part of theoretical study is consisted of seven parts which are related to the contents of animal experimental study, including the state of study on mechanism of insulin resistance, treatment to insulin resistance, the relation of model rats insulin resistance of Type 2 diabetes mellitus, the makeup of Yisuling, mechanism of Yisuling capsule, the relationship between phlegm-gore and insulin resistance of Type 2 diabetes mellitus and curative effect of Yisuling.
