Studies On Resolve Phlegm And Move Blood-stasis In Treating Type 2 Diabetes Insulin Resistance

Objective: To explore the clinical effects and mechanism of Yi Su Ling Capsule on type 2 diabetes insulin resistance. Methods:70 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus(NIDDM) insulin resistance(IR) with syndrome of turbid phlegm and blood stasis were divided equally into two groups at random. The treated group were treated with Yi Su Ling Capsule and the controlled group with Metformin Hydrochloride tablets . The clinical recurrence of both groups before and after the treatment were observed, including clinical symptoms, blood glucose, HbA1C, fasting insulin(FINS), insulin action index(IAI), insulin resistance(IRI), body mass index(BMI) blood lipid, blood rheology, all-around therapeutic effect. Results: Yi Su Ling Capsule can obviously improve the clinical symptoms, blood rheology. It can obviously lower blood glucose, HbAIC, FINS, blood lipid, BMI. It can obviously improve IAI. The all-around effect of Yi Su Ling Capsule is superior to Metformin Hydrochloride tablets. Conclusions: Yi Su Ling Capsule has a better effect in treating type 2 diabetes insulin resistance.
