Clinical Study About The Effect Of Catgut Implantation At Acupoint On Treating Simple Obesity In Different Seasons

Objective: The article was to observe the effect of catgut implantation at acupoint on treating simple obesity and discuss the effects in different seasons. Method: 117 cases were selected, and divided into four groups randomly according to the different seasons. Comparing their symptom, physical sign and laboratory index after treatment with them before treatment. Result: After two courses, the therapy decreased the bodyweight, circumference, the lever of serum leptin and blood-lipid. Four groups had different therapeutic results. The total effective rate of spring was 80%, of summer was 90%, of autumn was 51.72% ,of winter was 35.71% .Conclusion: The regulation of the therapy on level of blood-lipid and serum leptin is possibly the key in the anti-obesity in the four seasons. But for the patients the best season to lose weight is summer, the worst season to lose weight is winter. The order of curative effect of four seasons is summer, spring, autumn, winter.
