Observation On Simple Obesity Treated With Acupoint Sticking Combined With Catgut Embedding Therapy

ObjectiveTo assess the curative effect of plastering on acupoint and catgut implantation at acupoint on simple obesity according to observing the effect of acupoint application, acupoint Catgut Embedding, plastering on acupoint and catgut implantation at acupoint on simple obesityMethods90Patients with simple obesity were assigned to control groupl (Acupoint sticking group), control group2(Acupoint catgut embedding group), and the treatment group (Acupoint sticking and catgut embedding group) according to the principle of simple random, control and blindness.Before and after treatment, the height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, under the right shoulder blade Angle peel thickness, thickness of right upper arm triceps skin wrinkle of the patient were measured。After that, we evaluate through calculating the BIM, obesity, fat percentage, waist-hip ratio.ResultsBefore treatment, compared the gender, age, scores of clinical symptoms assessment, weight, BIM, obesity, fat percentage, waist circumference, waist-hip ratio of three groups of cases, the value of P of the items are of no significant difference (P>0.05).After treatment, the weight, BIM, fat percentage, waist circumference, waist-hip ratio of each group are lower than that before the treatment, the value of P of the items are of significant difference (P<0.05). It show us that:three kinds of treatments can reduce weight, reduce the fat content. Compared Acupoint sticking group with Acupoint sticking and catgut embedding group, the difference are of statistical significant(P<0.05). Compared Acupoint catgut embedding group with Acupoint sticking and catgut embedding group, the difference are of statistical significant(P<0.05). Compared Acupoint sticking group with Acupoint catgut embedding group, the difference are of no statistical significant(P>0.05).ConclusionAcupoint sticking and catgut embedding therapy is superior to the other kinds of treatments in losing weight. The total effective rate is highest. And this group reduce more weight and fat content than the other two groups.
