The Clinical Application Of Vacuum Sealing Drainage Technic In The Traumas Of Extremities

Objective:To explore the main point of vacuum sealing drainage system in the treatment of traumas in extremities.Methods:Retrospective analysis 28 cases of soft tissue defect in extremities who used the vacuum sealing drainage system.including 20 males and 8 females.the age varies fron 3 to 68 years;the cause of the trauma is traffic accident in 14 cases,machinery twist and crash in7 cases,and bruised in 4 cases,others in 3cases.All the cases are treated with vacuum sealing drainage system to observe the therapeutic effect.Results:The drainage system is effective in 27 cases. the drainage tube is blocked in 1 case,the semi permeable membrane break in 3 cases.After treatment of 7-10days,the wound surface is clean in all cases with fresh granulation tissue escept 1case with bone reveal and infection.finally,15cases take the skin graft , and 7 cases take pedicle skin flap transplantation and 6 cases take free skin flap transplantation.All the skin and flap survive well,and there is no infection.Conclusion:Vacuum sealing drainage technique can cure the infection of soft tissue quickly and effectively.In cases of skin graft, VSD is effect in fixing the skin,and elevate the survival rate. Especially,in the cases with large area skin tear.VSD is effective in the treatment of myelitis,after treatment with VSD,granulation tissue can hyperplasia and cover the exposed bone in some cases with small area bone reveal。Then the wound can be covered by skin graft,instend of flap graft。...
