Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of vacuum sealing drainage technology in skin-grafting application to analyse the use of vacuum sealing drainage in the treatment of skin-grafting.Methods:The 110 patients whose under skin and soft tissue defect (caused by many reasons) were selected from the patients who needed the skin-grafting operation in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from October (2013) to December (2015). These patients were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group and each group contains 55 patients. The patients in the control group were treated by traditional packaged skin grafting while the other patients in the experimental group were treated by VSD combine autologous skin-grafting. The clinical effect of VSD was evaluated by recording the survival of skin graft, average length of inpatient’stay, average time of operation and patients’satisfaction after the treatment.Results:By undergoing the VSD treatment, The main reason why skin grafts of the 55 patients (VSD group) survived well and significantly better than those of the other group (traditional skin graft) are pressure that could be controlled and have well dressed. The drainage equipment (Vaseline gauze) is on the surface of the grafts and could remove the under-skin fluid after connected to the negative pressure. In the process of treatment, compared the data with the traditional packaged skin grafting group, the time of surgery and hospitalization of the patients in VSD group are less (P<0.01), and that accelerates the recovery of patients and reduces the burden of the doctor; Regarding the scoring on the pain degree, the score of VSD group was significantly lower than the traditional packing graft group (P<0.01). At the same time, the score of family satisfaction of VSD group was higher than that of traditional packing graft group (P<0.01).Conclusion:The research shows that applying vacuum sealing drainage technique after the treatment of skin-grafting can obviously save the time of surgery, improving the survival rate of grafting skin. And the result of treatment from the experimental group is significantly better than the control group.
