Objective: To investigate the relationship between deep venous thrombosis(DVT) and plasma E,P-selectin, and to evaluate the mobile variety of plasma E,P-selectin in blood plasma during the development of deep venous thrombosis.Cases and Methods: 50 patients, who were confirmed to suffer deep venous thrombosis within 3 days or pathogenetic condition aggravated, were involved( 29 cases of male, female 21 cases, the average age of 54.26±15.82 years old).Sex and age were not limited.2ml whole blood, anticoagulated by natrium citricum , were obtained at the time the patients in hospital, defined by before-treatment(BT).After 72 hours medical treatment, a second specimen were obtained, defined by after-treatment(AT).Plasma within 30 minutes was obtained by the speed of 3000r/min for centrifugal about 10min,kept at -20℃.(They were determinated within there months and these steps were in the operation carried out at ordinary temperature) Plasma E,P-selectin in blood plasma were measured through ELISA meathod. For the part of platelet count determination and coagulation function(APTT ,PT ,FIB).Results:(1)The E, P-selectin levels in those whose signs were apparently relieved were decreased (P<0.001),but in those whose signs were non-remission ,it was increased(P<0.001).(2)The post-traumatic DVT group plasma E, P-selectin levels were not significantly higher than the post-operative DVT group(P>0.05).(3)The central DVT group plasma E, P-selectin levels were not significantly higher than the mixed DVT group(P>0.05).(4)The E, P-selectin levels and platelet count of deep vein thrombosis in patients before treatment showed no correlation (P>0.05), and were not related to fibrinogen content(P>0.05), or part-time activation thromboplastin (P>0.05), and prothrombin time (P>0.05).Conclusions:1.The plasma E, P-selectin levels are correlated to the severity of the DVT signs.2.In the mechanism of deep vein thrombosis,DVT patients with post-traumatic and post-operative patients with DVT, interleukin involved in the inflammatory response has played an equally important role. 3.The plasma E, P-selectin levels can not be used to diagnosis the central DVT and the mixed DVT patients. 4.The plasma E, P-selectin levels are not significant relationship to coagulation function(APTT ,PT ,FIB),and platelet count.
