Clinical Effect Of YiShenJiangTang Decoction On Patients With Early Stage Of Diabetic Nephropathy And Their Serum Cystatin C

Objectives:To observe the clinical effect of YiShenJiangTang decoction on patients with early stage of diabetic nephropathy(DN) and the effect of serum Cystatin C level.And to probe the clinical effect of YiShenJiangTang decoction on clinical symptoms of the the patients who were diagnosed both Qi-Yin deficiency with early DN.Thereby,we may form the new mode of the early treatment for the patients with early stage of DN.Materials and Methods:According to the Mogensen diagnostic and classification criterion of DN.60 patients with third stage DN were enrolled and divided into treatment group and control group at random.Treatment group is 30 cases and the same in control group.Patients of treatment group took YiShenJiangTang decoction 10ml each and twice per day integrated with modern medicine conventional therapy;Patients of control group only took the modern medicine only.Two groups all took 2 month as 1 course of treatment.Serum Cystatin C Glycosylated hemoglobin and Urinary albumin excretion rate were detected before and after treatment.Results:Total effective rate of treatment group is 86.7%and clinical symptoms were improved much better than that of control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the serum Cystatin C and UAER were significantly decreased than control group(p＜0.05),and Endogenous Creatinine Clearance Rate were improved than before treatmen(p＜0.05).No obvious adverse reaction was found in both groups.Conclusion:(1) YiShenJiangTang decoction was proved to be a effective prescription for patients who were diagnosed both Qi-Yin deficiency with early DN.(2) YiShenJiangTang decoction can significantly relieve the patients' clinical symptoms such as fatigued,weak waist soreness,and dryness of mouth and throat.(3)Level of serum Cystatin C may be taken as a convenient,sensitive,and reliable indication of renal function.
