Clinical Study On Advanced Colorectal Carcinoma Treated By Qi Lian Fu Zheng Capsule With Chemotherapy

Objective:According to the pathogenic peculiarity of stasis,toxicity and phlegm obstruction, "Qi lian fu zheng capsule" based on the therapeutic principle of Huayu and expectoranting, detoxicating and resolving a mass was studied out for advanced colorectal carcinoma(ACRC), combined with chemotherapy to observe the effects of the treatment, and to probe into its mechanism of action.MethodS:Adopting a random method,52 cases of advanced colorectal carcinoma cancer patients were divided into treatment and control groups averagely,two sets were given OLF (OXA+CF+5-FU) chemotherapy, and the observation set even took Qi lian fu zheng capsules. Carrying on prospective study,Objective effects and the changes of subjective symptoms were studied during two periods of treatment.Results:After two periods of treatment, the subjective symptoms,KPS,body weights,quality of life. side effects,immune parameters(NKC),the tumor mark(CEA) were all significantly improved in the treated set, better than in the control one.But there was no difference between two groups on the size of focus, the toxicity occurent rate and toxic degree were slighter in the treated group than in the control one.Conclusion:"Qi lian fu zheng capsule" combined with chemotherapy (OLF regimen)have better curative effect on treating ACRC.
