Aims:To measure serum highly sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP), Vaspin levels in type 2 diabetes(T2DM), diabetic nephropathy(DN) and normal glucose regulation group(NGR),further explore the possible correlation among the above both factors and the other factors.Methods:Measure serum Vaspin(by ELISA) and hs-CRP levels in 36 patients with T2DM, 33 patients with DN and NGR in 30 cases, while FPG, PG2h, fasting insulin, lipids and other indicators were also mearsured, height, weight, WC, HC, blood pressure were measured to calculate BMI, WHR and HOMA-IR.The diversity of each index among the three groups, and each index's correlation with hs-CRP or Vaspin concentration were analysed by SPSS statistical analysis software.Results:1.hs-CRP in the T2DM group and the DN group was significantly higher than NGR group(3.61±0.99,4.35+1.2 vs1.84±0.77, P<0.01).2.The highest concentration of serum Vaspin in T2DM group (6.92±1.75 vs5.85±1.19,5.3+1.34, P<0.01).3.Obese group and non obese group were classified according to body mass index.There was a significant difference in serum high sensitivity C-reactive protein, Vaspin,uric acid,triglyceride,cholesterol,blood pressure and HOMA-IR level between two groups (P<0.05).4. Date show that Vaspin concentration VS WC, WHR, BMI was significantly positive correlated (P<0.01);Vaspin and TG concentration was positive correlated(P<0.05);hs-CRP concentration VS FPG, blood pressure and HOMA-IR was significantly positive correlated (P<0.01); Vaspin concentration and hs-CRP concentration was related in the NGR group and the T2DM group (P<0.05); In DN group, Vaspin concentration was negative related to PG2h(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Serum hs-CRP level was related to insulin resistance, glucose or lipid metabolism disorder and disease course in T2DM patients;hs-CRP can be used as indicators for monitoring the development of T2DM during entire process.2.Serum Vaspin level were related to obesity,body fat distribution,lipid metabolism;So that Vaspin can be used as indicators to monitor T2DM in early stage.3.Serum Vaspin level was related to degree of inflammatory in T2DM patients.
