The Clinical Observation On 47 Cases Of Combine Traditional Chinese And Western Medicine In The Treatment Of Complex Fractures Of Tibial Plateau

Objective:The complex fractures of tibial plateau including Schatzker V and VI types.It is a kind of complicated internal joint fracture for high—energy injuries. Because it exists on the plateaus at both sides and avoidance of injury to soft tissues, Pathological change complicated, It making treatment more difficulty.In traditional,The operation treatment is to adopt supporting steel plates while open reduction is conducted so as to obtain anatomical reduction and secure stability.But it is difficult to solve the soft tissues for injury and treatment postoperative complications at the same time. In Clinic therapies,we find out that combine traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of complex fractures of tibial plateau will had comparatively superiority.Now,we will adopted a retrospective study was Observation curative effect and advantage preponderance of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in the treatment of complex fractures of tibial plateauMethods:we will adopted a retrospective study that 47 cases of complex fractures of tibial plateau patients from The Affiliated hospital Orthopedics department Ward of Chengdu university of TCM and the lower limbs trauma department Ward of Si Chuan Province Orthopedics hospital from June 2009 to October 2010.According to classify, Schatzker V had 24 cases and VI 23 cases. According concept of minimally invasive, we used a limited open reduction internal fixation and the perioperative period with treating by Chinese medicine.And in after operation now,2weeks, 1th,3th,6th Observation curative effect, Statistical analyzing and summarizing the result, To compared the documents records,Objective evaluation of its therapeutic efficacy.Results:We will call on the 47 case patients at least six month,All patients not turned up the Second operation, amputation and infection. The function excellent rate of knee is:97.9%. The Cured rate is:89.4%.Conclusions:Operation treatment to reached anatomic reduction of fractures of tibial plateau surface, The traditional Chinese Medicine had comparatively superiority for perioperative treatment. Combine traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of complex fractures of tibial plateau will to resume the anatomic reduction, eliminate swollen of knee joint,to shorten the average time to Clinical treatment and improve the patient's Clinical symptoms, And the curative effect is satisfied. All we think that must be worth to research and applied in clinic treatment.
