Tourism is the best way to communicate among people. China is the symbol of the eastern civilization, all the people of the world are attracted by Chinese ancient history. The translation of tourism material is regarded as the most effective and direct way to introduce herself to the world.Culture is the soul of the tourism. Most of tourists to China are not only for the beautiful scene but also for the different culture from their own. The writers of the tourism materials usually describe the scene in beautiful words to attract more tourists and enhance the cultural atmosphere by quoting many poems or legends. But, there are many differences between western and eastern cultures, which lead to the difficulties during the course of translating these special cultures.The aim of the tourism materials is to keep the readers interested in the spots, it is a kind of practical text, so it should be translated under the guide of Skopos theory.The thesis just studies from catering culture, folk Customs, religious culture and the quotations of poems, legends.
