Since the thirty years of reform and opening up, more and more people have begun to love and learn piano with the elevation of living standards and the development of quality education. And piano art have developed vigorously. In the meantime, the theories of piano teaching have also become more standardized and more scientific. These theories have crossed and marginalized with other subjects constantly. To the problem that the teacher only emphasizes teaching skills but ignores to train students'positive quality in the process of piano teaching, with the aid of many theories like aspsychology, pedagogy, statistics, ethetics and using the scientific methods, this article forcus on the important function of "positive quality" to the piano learning skills and piano playing from the perspective of positive quality as the purpose of research. The purpose of this article is to guide and promote the students' piano learning and the level of piano playing effectively, and then make the students become the talents for the needs of times.This article is mainly divided into six parts. At the beginning, that is the introduction part. It introduced the cause of this topic, the purpose and significance of this study. In the first part, the present situation of piano education in China was introduced briefly:It also summarized the related monographs and papers of piano education. The second part introduced the basic concepts. It mentioned positive psychology this new emerging subject and its application. And it also introduced several concepts like "positive education", "character", "quality", "positive quality"and explained the function and training method of positive quality. The third part is the part of questionnaire, data statistics, and result analysis. The author made the questionnaire to the objetcs of study with "Bif Five" Personality Inventory (IPIP-NEO-PI). Through collecting and analyzing the data with SPSS statistic software, it found the personalities could affect piano remarks directly and apparently and then got the related conclusion with the results of investigation. In the forth part, on the basis of the obtained results, for improving piano remarks and playing effectively and making the piano teaching get better effects, it presented that in the teaching process, the teachers should use positive educational methods to train the students' positive from the students'willpower, conscientiousness, self-confidence, creativity and imagination these five aspects. The last part is the summary part. In this part, the author introduced its ideas again, pointed the importance of training the students'positive quality in the process of piano teaching and presented its thoughts and suggests to the development of the future piano art in China.
