There has been a few thousand years since psychological education emerged in our country. Early psychological education is some pedagogical thinking. It was in modern and contemporary age that psychological education was carried on in school in many ways. We psychological education personnel are very happy for that. Yet meanwhile we also need notice that psychological education is launched chiefly by means of psychological counseling in middle school of our country now. Psychological counseling is significant but it is post-rectifiable fashion. Furthermore, it confronts only tiny minority students. The psychology of most of students is well and we cannot get in return the development of tiny minority students with the benefit giving up most. Considering above-mentioned things, I put forward positive psychological education.There are theory foundation (the emergence of American positive psychology), actual foundation (the development of quality education in our country) and psychology foundation (Intrinsic positive element of human beings) of the proposition of positive psychological education. I bring forward the value of positive psychological education. It also is positive psychological education sense and is proposed by means of function, subject, process and target of positive psychological education. Besides, the paper illuminates basic content, principle and purpose of positive psychological education. It also accounts for the implementation methods of positive psychological education so that positive psychological education can be carried on successfully in middle school.
