IntroductionAs a newly-developed discipline, intercultural communication emerges from the increasingly frequent international communication as well as the integration of global economy. Besides, it is also a comprehensive discipline, involving cultural linguistics, social linguistics, verbal communication etc. Communication, or rather non-verbal communication, is an important part of intercultural communication. However, most related articles and works focus more on foreign language teaching instead of Chinese teaching for foreigners. Based on such Chinese teaching, this paper makes a thorough analysis of both the features and values of the silence in Chinese teaching for foreigners from the perspective of intercultural communication.many Foreign scholars have been very concerned about the research, some scholars from the linguistic terms of the study of silence, this is the silent language of the time that understand the knowledge . In many scholars on this research is also a lot, according to the culture of silence in the attitudes and understand the causes of differences across cultural barriers and social aspects, and set out in silence, the use of the differences between east and west, further discussions on the side of the language.There are nine parts:The first part of definition of the cultural communication. owing to a foreign language classroom is a very special language environment, it belongs to the cultural communication category, the study was the first time to its scope was limited to a foreign language classes after the silent language of classification. This section is mainly for overseas Chinese in the classroom, and find more innovative in many ways of the silent language, and in the classification process.The fourth and fifth part : a foreign language teaching in the classroom is silent and by the use of paper. This is the main part, which is guided practice in accordance with the vigorous, teachers or students. If you find a pause of the reasons for the classroom teacher will be solved. of all phenomenaSixth to eight parts are the main parts. Thoses are based on overseas Chinese students and teachers, from two aspects to study the silence of the characteristics, and their language. To sum up with characteristics of a foreign language teaching in the classroom. Students are prone to a series of questions, when the teacher encounter the problem, the flexible application of methods to guide students to learn a foreign language teaching can improve the efficiency of the classroom. Of teachers, to its own silence for a new understanding of the teacher's efforts to avoid negative silence in a foreign languge class.
