| The purpose of the study was investigated the effects of the parent training for the parents who had child s' problem behaviors. There were eight parents in the experimental group who had a 4-session parent training program and the other eight parents in the control group who had not it. Those parents both came from a primary school in Harbin, and their children were in the first grade. The revised Barkley's Disruptive Behavior Rating Scale was administrated at the beginning and end of the training, as well as four weeks after training. And the qualitative data of the trainees' feedbacks questionnaire was collected. The major results of the Analysis of Covariance were that the parent training had the immediate positive effects on the children's attention and obedience behaviors.Furthermore, the parent training also had longitudinal positive effects on the children's attention and obedience behaviors. In addition, the parents' feedbacks also confirmed that they basically had grasped the core issues of the parent training, and their attitude to child became more heartsease, and more liked listening to their child as well as used the family billiard-marker system to encourage their child.Based on the results, the suggestions of the parent education, parent training group, and the future research were respectively discussed. |
