The empty word and the word order is important in Chinese grammatical means of expression.Compared with other ethnic anguages,empty words has a more onerous burden on the syntax of the task, the study of ancient Chinese grammar is mainly reflected in the research on the empty word. As an important category of empty words System , prepositions plays an important role in the Chinese language,not only it has a considerable complexity in meaning,origin,usage and distribution,but also a unique value In the Chinese grammar system , so Ancient Chinese Grammar Researchers take much count of it。at the present time,the research of the ancient Chinese prepositions has made a lot of results,but some important books'study of the preposition is not sufficient. Lie Zi is an important Taoist classics, most people in the Academia pay attention to ideas, authors, etc, Very few people involved in grammar research, particularly in prepositions'research , There are no related articles in prepositions'research as yet. This thesis takes the prepositions of Lie Zi as its research object, and then we will make a comprehensive review of the preposition system in this book.There are five parts in this paper:The f irst part : The introduction. Summary of the characteristics and rules of the prepositions and prepositional phrases which combinates the charts.Generally speaking, in the language, it not only shows the style of the language of ancient times, but also the language characteristics of the Wei-Jin period of mediaeval times.we hope that it will be helpful to reveal the grammatical evelopment and the evolution of the rule through the preposition research.
