Chinese Quasi-affix is an intermediate state between Root and Affix. Although the word original intention has been a bit grammatical, it still reserves a part of root intention. The "root+ affix" in Chinese wording formation is an essential channel on new Chinese words generation in recent years. Apply Quasi-affix concept and wording regulation to teaching of TCFL will benefit the second language learners to enlarge Chinese vocabularies based on language derivation and acquired new words, and also meet the challenge on the new situation of Chinese widespread, specification, popularization and finally improve Chinese international competitiveness under the globalization.This study composed extensively inspects Outline of HSK Grammar Level and the Quasi-affix frequency and usage in foreign language newspapers and teaching materials. Furthermore, I have investigated forty-four intermediate and advanced Thailand students on Chinese Quasi-affix using status in South-west University investigation by questionnaire. Above all, I have finally confirmed the Quasi-affix amount in teaching of TCFL is twenty-four.Through analysis, the main error type of twenty-four Chinese Quasi-affix using lying in these students are:not clear distinction of affix and non-affix meaning; not familiar with the whole derivative words in Quasi-affix; not fully understand the Quasi-affix and Quasi-affix derivative words meaning and a lack of Quasi-affix wording formation. And, the main reasons which made this misunderstanding are:intralingua interference; Quasi-affix complexity; not enough of the social, political and other aspects of the news; not fully understand the importance of Quasi-affix in teaching of TCFL.This survey raises a series teaching strategies on analysis of senior stage Thai students'main errors of Quasi-affix acquisition. The teaching strategies include:Regularly revise and update the Outline of HSK Grammar Level; regularly update teaching materials; Open elective courses or seminars set, and etc. And the teaching methods include Quasi-affix already used on teaching materials and unused Quasi-affix teaching.
