"Traditional Voice" With Shanxi Contemporary Fiction

Shanxi is an important town if you could call the current literature in China territory. Local writers have integrated the town's special culture into their literary production, which is the one of the primary reasons why the writers in Shanxi have the similar literary character. The town is famous for the folk songs and traditional drama. There were different voices with unique feature for the different region culture and tradition in China. Here the traditional voice mainly refers to the folk song and the drama with long history widespread in ShanXi,which have enriched the local daily life, but also inspire the writers in literature. This is the reason why it is so special and unique in the Chinese literature.Many Shanxi writers have been affected by a kind of Shanxi local melody and opera since their childhood. When they become writers, they also use the both ways to convey their ideas or feelings. However, a lot of person who have focused on the study of the writers or production seldom pay attention to the effects from the traditional voice and important function of the both Shanxi art forms. This key point that the author will study is to find the important position and meanings of the traditional voice based on the Shanxi local melody and Shanxi opera, aiming at making clear the effects on the Shanxi writers and the impact on the society and novel of the time.This article will attempt from four aspects to analyze some connections between the local writers today and the famous folk songs and traditional dramas. The first chapter will mainly introduce the origin and characteristics of the folk songs and dramas as well as how to be presented with the ShanXi folk songs and dramas in the Shanxi novel of the time. The second chapter will mainly analyze the narration functions in novel of these "the traditional sound" from six aspects. Based on the chapter2, the third chapter will focus on the unique esthetic style of Shanbei novel. The fourth chapter will mainly introduce the connections between the "traditional sound" and the writer group of Shanxi novel.
