When the Three-syllable words entered into the sight of the academic circles, they have been aroused an upsurge of researching and has continued into our own day, their achievements involved many aspects such as the definition of terminology, the research of phonetics, structural linguistics, grammatical features, Semantic constructions, rhetoric, the trend of its development and so on. Some former scholars have achieved the great successes which has a very high value in the research of the Three-syllable words in semantic field.Based on the summary for some former scholars' achievements, the paper aims to deeply dig the Three-syllable words' internal organization of the morpheme and conduct the whole system of the Three-syllable words in semantic field according to building the corpus centered on the core morpheme and applying to the theory of modern semantic fields. The paper is divided into five chapters.The chapter one is introduction. In this chapter, the writer focused on the comprehensive review on the fruitful achievements some scholars have made. We found that the predecessors need further investigation for the Three-syllable words in semantic field, just still stopping on the level of the Three-syllable words' Semantic constructions and not paying much attention to the study of the semantic field formed by the core morpheme as the dominated position.The chapter two is the semantic field about amount. In this chapter, the writer focuses on discussing the structural linguistics and the semantic field about amount.The chapter three is the semantic field about color. In this chapter, the writer launches elaboration of the structural linguistics and the semantic field about color.The chapter four is the semantic field about opposites. In this chapter, the writer discusses the structural linguistics and the semantic field about opposites.The chapter five is conclusions. In this chapter, the writer takes the compositional layer and polymerizational layer as the cut-in point and sums up the characteristics which the Three-syllable words in semantic field take on.
