Research On The Relationship Of Family Function, Sense Of Coherence, Social Avoidance And Distress Among College Students

Antonovsky ,a psychologist from Israel ,firstly advanced the Salutogenic Mode theory and central concept sense of coherence (SOC)in 1979. SOC was known as the inner understanding of life or feelings extremely the mental disposition again, which refers to the general feeling from life in the intra-individual stable and a psychological tendency from cognition, which one have people can possess a deepgoing, persistent and hyperkinetic of self-confidence. Antonovsky's proposed theories and its central concept attract people's attention day by day, and arouse a series of related studies.The purpose of this study was adopted to the Chinese edition of Soc-13 in twenty-nine Psychological Consistent which was translated by domestic Bao Lei ping etc. and compiled by Antonovsky. And it further researched on the current situation of college students'psychological consistent sense, the mutual influence among family functions, Social Avoidance and Distress and psychological consistent sense, and then constructed the relationship model among family functions, psychological consistent sense and Social Avoidance and Distress. Study research shows that:1. The college students whose senses of coherence and Social Avoidance and Distress at the medium level, their family function tends to be healthy.2. The school classifications has a remarkable main effect on college students'family device's total points, communication, affective involvement and general functioning, undergraduates have a significant higher score than junior college students. School classifications and grades, have a significant interaction on college students'family device's total points, Communication, affective involvement, behavior control and general functioning. Freshman of undergraduates get a markedly higher score than freshman of junior college students, and freshman have a distinctly higher level than sophomore in junior college. 3. Sense of coherence and the dimensionality of comprehensibility both have a notable main effect on grades. Freshman have a significantly higher score than the other three grades, the other three grades'score increase successively.4. School classifications and single child have a conspicuous Interaction on Sense of coherence and the dimensionality of manageability. Non-only child has a rather higher Sense of coherence level than the only–child in junior college. It has a remarkable interaction on school type and grades in the field of college students'Sense of coherence and the dimensionality of meaningfulness, freshman have a significantly higher score than junior students in junior college.5. School classifications has a notable main effect on the dimensionality of social avoidance among college students. Undergraduates have a significant higher score than junior college students. The school type and grades have a conspicuous interaction on Social Avoidance and Distress and the dimensionality of social avoidance among college students, and freshman of undergraduates get a remarkable higher score than freshman of undergraduates.6. Sense of coherence, family device and Social Avoidance and Distress have a pair-wise significantly negative correlation.7. Sense of coherence plays a mediate role between family device and Social Avoidance and Distress.
