China is a great agricultural country. The number of rural population is more than two thirds of total population. Images of famers had come out in Chinese canvas continually. There were many canvas predecessors, which were so care of the life of farmers. In recent years, as the policy of"reform and open"brings into effect and the step of economic construction expedite, the demand of labour force is getting greater and greater, so that large quantities of labour force come to cities from countries, and migrant workers, this kind of special colony little by little form. The question of migrant workers become focal questions of society. In Chinese canvas many productions is about the life of migrant workers. These productions is full of attention and pity about disadvantaged groups. These migrant workers leave own hometowns and stray in cities. More and more oil painters are care of their lives."Three nearness"is their principle of creativity. Oil painters think much of famers'rough situation, and open out realistic inconsistency. They press close to famers and their hearts, and pay close attention to their lives. Oil painters also describe their life details carefully. Especially those oil painters ,who has realistic style and high artistic power of expression, all the time stick to the principle: art is the distillation of life and service of people. This discourse analysed thoroughly and systematically these canvases, which exhibited the life of migrant workers in resent years, and raised a series of Promethean point of view. This discourse analysed formation and development of the special groups-migrant workers, and pointed out that they made huge devotion to Chinese modernization drive but they were treated unfairly. E.g. be discriminated against in employment and children. Nowadays in china, people townsmen revolt against floating population. They consider migrant workers as outsiders, and rebuke that they are responsible for environmental pollution and crime in cities. Migrant workers are in the lowest echelon of society, and in tough situation of life and work because of household registration system. This discourse deeply analysed Chinese history and canvases about migrant workers in today's painting word, and finally comes to a conclusion: as a artist, one should realise clearly own social responsibility; should create dramatic artistic image to express sensational and thoughtprovoking humanistic spirit; should actively take part in the develop of society; should being a artist, which keeps pace with the times and reflects the spirit of the age, and at the same time praises to peole.
