"Mo Zi" authored by disciple followers of Mo Zi and well known as mohist works. "Mo Zi" is very valuable for language study because its content is very large, it is close to the spoken language and it was authored from Pre-Qin period to Han Dynasty. There are many declarative sentences, passive sentences, sentences with two objects, and interrogative sentences in "Mo Zi". We can more clearly understand the development of these four kinds of phrasing of "Mo Zi" in Chinese language by study these sentences.This paper is set to study four kinds of phrasing in "Mo Zi" from the following aspects:I Firstly ,set standards for the definition of these four kinds of phrasing in "Mo Zi". And then establish classification standards for these four kinds of phrasing.II Summarize almost all declarative sentences, passive sentences, sentences with two objects, and interrogative sentences in "Mo Zi" and put them into different categories. Statistics their number and frequency . We can draw a conclusion that there are 299 declarative sentences, 255 positive declarative sentences, 42 negative declarative sentences, 2 compound declarative sentences, positive declarative sentences is maximum in "Mo Zi". There are 16 passive sentences with symbol, includes 2 passive sentences with "yu",6 passive sentences with "wei",7 passive sentences with "jian" and 1 composite passive sentences. The number of the passive sentences with "jian" is the largest. "Mo Zi" has a total of 119 sentences with two objects.29 giving category,19 Jiaoshi category,43 Chengwei category,1 asking category,2 causative category,19 Weidong category,2 disposal category and 4 quantitive category. Chengwei category has the largest number. There are 547 interrogative sentences in "Mo Zi":408 asking sentences, 115 rhetorical question sentences and 24 Ceduo interrogative sentences. Asking sentences is overwhelming and the proportion is 74.6%.III Summarize and analyze sentence symbols of these four kinds of phrasing. The number of these four kinds of phrasing symbols is very large. The sentenceIV Using the theory of the synchronic linguistics diachronic linguistics and previous research results, analyze and study these four kinds of phrasing in "Mo Zi" .
