The Studies 0n Yin Qie Of The Zi Wan Bo Yi In Yong Le Da Dian

This paper studies Ziwanboyi in terms of the materials edited in Yong Le Da Dian since it has been lost. Ziwanboyi was proved to be finished about at the end of the Yuan Dinasty or the beginning of the Ming Dinasty.The systems of sound, rhyme and tone in Ziwanboyi are researched by the means of Fanqie association, sound investigation, enumerative and inductive inference, Fanqie comparison , and so on, which works out its 32 categories of phoneme , 52 categories of the rhyme and 4 categories of intonation (ping, shang, qu, ru) . According to the general rules of phonetic development from the mediaeval age to mordern times , the characteristics of the sound system of Ziwanboyi , compared with such books as, Guangyun,Wuyinjiyun, Mengguziyun, are concluded as follows:The sound system: the phenomenon of hunqie about light lip sounds and heavy lip sounds;Basically, the initial consonants of the sonant syllables remain, but some of them become voiceless; the three goups of"zhi""zhuang""zhang"are still independent, but some of them are combined; the phonomenon of mixed qie in initial consonants of"jing"and"zhuang"appears; the initial consonants of"yi"and"ying"are mixed, they are combined into the zero initialRhyme system:1. the confluence of gengshe closing and tongshe;the confluence of the three rhyme systems of zhishe about"zhi""zhi""zhi"; 2. some rhyme confluence of zhishe and xieshe;most the double rhyms in the medieval age are confluensed , such as,"guai""gua"in xiesheâ…¡.;3.the rhyme of"zhen""zhen"in zhensheâ…¢; the rhyme of"xian""xian"in zhensheâ…¡;4.the confluence of"xiao""xiao"of medieval liusheâ…¢and liusheâ…£;5. the confluence of the two shes about"jiang""dang"6.sometimes the xian rhyme of xiansheâ…¡and tan rhyme of xiansheâ… hunqie;7. the confluence of"mu""yu"in yushe; 8. the Ru sheng remains.Tone system:the ping sound is not differentiated as yin, yang,the voiced shang does not change into qu sound;the ru sound remains. Overall, the sound system reflected in Ziwanboyi is quite conservative. It both maintains the old way and reflects the real sound at that time.
