Aesthetic education is a sort of education, which, with beautiful thing as its media, improves people's ability of feeling the beautiful and of appreciating and creating the beautiful through aesthetic activity. Its final aim is to mold people's emotion and to advance people's spirit. Aesthetic education, in a sense, is also called emotional education. Emotional effect is both characteristic and function of aesthetic education. Emotion is very important to a person. There is a famous saying by Lenin that without human emotion, one wouldn't have been or couldn't probably be eager to seek after truth. Without aesthetic education, Chinese Communist Party, Which came into being at early twenties of 20th century, wouldn't have been able to grasp the Chinese people to bring the Chinese Revolution to success. Before 1949, Chinese Communist Party tried its best to carry out Aesthetic education and formed rich ideas of aesthetic education ideas of Chinese Communist Party before 1949 is of great value in theory and in practice.This thesis develops the exposition in three sections. The first section sets forth the necessity of the emergence of aesthetic education ideas in Chinese Communist Party. The Aesthetic education ideas of Chinese Communist Party was produced because of its own characteristics and effects, and of its close links with the era in which Chinese Communist Party was.The second part includes the main contents of the aesthetic education ideas. The following are the main contents: Firstly, Aesthetic education must combine with the masses of workers, peasants and soldiers; secondly, Aesthetic education should combine with productive labor: Thirdly; Aesthetic education should serve proletarian politics; Forthly, To attach importance to the effects and position of Arts in Aesthetic education; Last but not least, Chinese Communist Party should correctly treat traditional culture of Chinese people.The third section concludes the characteristics of this aesthetic education ideas. The three characteristics are the unification of the quality of enlightenment and revolution, the unification of the quality of advancement and science and the unification of the quality of practice and theoretic innovation.
