A Elementary Study On Ten States Period Burial

About one hundred ten-states burials have been published up to now .Although previous scholars have conducted lots of research on them there is still no research on the base of comprehensive collection .Moreover the previous researches are relatively weak on the aspect of the shape and the grading differences of burials .The paper has collected altogether more than 100 Ten States burials that have been published ,given an analysis on the burial types ,the constitution of burial artifacts. On this base the paper has studied the the similarities and differences of the Ten States emperor burials ,the grade division of the Ten States Burials and discussed problems concerning the collectivity culture character ,area character and era character of the Ten States burials and several problems on burial custom .The paper consists of six parts.Part one has simply reviewed the history of discovers and study on Ten States burials, affirmed the contribute and pointed out lack aspects at the same time.Pate two has divided the Ten States burial types .On this base, summarized the burial types and the characters of decorate and bier that existed in every States.Part three has studied the combination of burial artifacts. Recommended material and shape of the burial artifacts of every State, then concluded the frequent combination of the burial artifacts, on this base discussed the corresponding relation between the types of burials and combinations of burial artifacts.Part four has given an comparatively analysis on the select of burial site, the material and decorate of chamber wall and bier bed, the amount ,shape ,composition of main chamber of eight emperor burials that have been excavated and published ,then concluded the similarities and differences and discussed the reason, at the same time given a aptitude prediction on some unspecific conditions.Part five has studied the burial grade . Depending on the burials the decedent status of which are specific, the paper has discussed the every State burial grade combining types of burials and combinations of burial artifacts.Part six has discussed several problems concerning the collectivity culture character ,area character and era character of the Ten States burials and several correlative problems on burial custom .
