On the basis of study on "SHI sentence" in modern Chinese, this paper makes meticulous error analysis and investigations on its acquisition. Based on the analysis of the learners' written work, it summarizes the typical and regular errors of each sub pattern, searches out the error causes and offers the relative suggestions and solutions. Making use of the data from questionnaire, it makes estimation of the difficult degree of learning of the eight sub patterns, analyses the arrangement of "SHI sentence" in Chinese learning texts and points out the problems.
