When we were teaching Chinese as a second language to foreign students or having a talk with them in Chinese, we often found that the error rate of the comparative sentences which they use was very high. Meanwhile, we noticed that the achievements about Chinese comparative sentences that we have could not meet our needs in the TCSL class . Therefore in order to make the students grasp various kinds of Chinese comparative ways correctly, and have a better quality in the results of teaching, we collected many error comparative sentences of Chinese which were used by the foreign students. According to the achievements about Chinese comparative sentences, we summarized up the different kinds of error sentences from the perspective of syntax, semantics and pragmatics. we also analysed the causes for the errors, based on foreign students' mother tongues, their ways of study, the deficient in the teachers' ways of teaching and the text books. Finally, according to the error analysis, we hope to offer some suggestions to the teaching of Chinese comparative sentences.
