A Contrastive Study On Yu Wen Cited In PianHai And JiYun

PianHai is an ancient Chinese dictionary contain the most amount of Chinese characters, and it is also the first large dictionary that arranged by the number of their's strokes.The dictionary has an important value as a lot of precious material is kept in.Because only manuscript exists now,and a great number of errors in it,which makes it diffcult to use and seriously abates its important role.lt is extremely necessary to rearrange.Under the guidance of Wenzixue,Xunguxue and Jiaokanxueyuwen cited in PianHai is being the main research project.It needs to draw out the problems about YuWen cited in PianHai based on the contrastive study on YuWen cited in PianHai and JiYun,and needs to take qualitative and quantitative analysis about these problems.The dictionary was compiled with ten dictionaries such as YuPian, Longkanshoujing, YuWen,etc.SomQ clerical errors are made in the course of compilation. In this article, these errors are explained in three aspects:figure,pronunciation and the meaning of characters.There are still some other errors in YuWen cited in PianHai,for lacking of linking and explaining Yitizi and Zhengzi.Furthermore,large dictionary which citing Pianhai have the same problem which are explained one by one in the article.
