| The 21st century is an era which is full of competitions and challenges. We need such a kind of qualified people who not only can be knowledgeable, capable, but also possess healthy personality that they can fit in with the fierce social competition and experience many difficulties and setbacks of trial. Obviously, in the college education of 21st century, it is vital to cultivate the healthy personality of the students. The author put forward the task of college English teaching, connected with the cultivation of personality. By the theoretical description of the conception and the analysis of existing state, it analyzed the facts of the lack and loss and the reasons, and put forward the methods for abstract execution of the cultivation of students' personality in the college English teaching.
