With the intension of extensive knowledge and the unique Chinese style,Chinese painting has become the supreme representative and model of orientalpainting art and is regarded as magnificent and brilliant in the world art history.Cinese painting is a kind of polytechnic art of combining poetic prose , calligraphy ,seal cutting and painting. The development of Chinese painting has been lasted forthousands of years. From "literati painting" raising by Su Shi, Chinese paintingformed its style in Tang and Song Dynasty, became popular in Yuan Dynasty, andachieved its ruling position in the beginning of the Qing Dynasty. Literati paintingsubconsciously affects the direction of the development of Chinese painting's style,method and aesthetic appreciation. Chinese painting takes the traditional ideas ofConfucian School, Taosim and Sakyamuni as its ideological basis and socialenviroment, the literatis' social status and the change of their lots as its social basis.The Chinese ancient poems----chinese ancient ways of expression andcalligraphy-----Chinese ancient ways of writing are the earth for Chinese painting togrow and the best historical dependence. The weakening of the modelling and theneglect of the theme, however, resulted in a standstill and even being step back of theChinese painting of characters. " Favoring ink and repeling color" is anothercharacteristic of Chinese painting. The fact that they insisted their own distinctivefeatures and disparaged the colorful folk paintings not only formed a ruling vague ofthe literati painting in the society, but also repeled the folk paintings out of the recordsof the painting art history. It is obvious that literati painting, as a kind of painting style,gives many negative inpacts on Chinese paintings for a long time.
