A Study On The Auxiliary Word In SanSuiPing YaoZhuan

In the middle-archaic China, auxiliary words had a great development. During this time, a great deal of auxiliary words came into being and there was adjustment in systems. SanSuiPingYaoZhuan is a good novel-volume, nearing to Chinese common language in the beginning of Ming dynasty. So the general picture of the language in end of Yuan dynasty and the beginning of Ming dynasty can be reflected on the whole. Investigating and researching its auxiliary word can discover and tally up its new characteristics, can do some work for the whole history of grammar.This paper is divided into five parts. Chapter 1 is the preface, it is made on auxiliary words and the value of SanSuiPingYaoZhuan in the history of Chinese language, making out the method used in writing and the edition pursuant. In chapter2, the author has made full of depiction and analysis on the four kind of auxiliary words, together with some probing explanations for the usage of them. In the chapter3, passing the inquisitions and analyzes of the ahead of the parts, full contents and author's views can be generalized for bellow aspects: there are generalized recapitulation of the thesis, pointing out that during the years of end of Yuan dynasty and beginning of Ming dynasty, reflected in the SanSuiPingYaoZhuan, auxiliary word systems in Chinese language were in great evolvements.In summation, the usages of some auxiliary words in SanSuiPingYaoZhuan have reflected the process of not only single auxiliary word's growing and declining, but also the adjustment of the whole auxiliary word systems. Using the methods of generalization,description, analysis and comparison synchronically and diachronically with rational explained, the author find a great difference between the two auxiliary word systems, which is that each kind of auxiliary words has grown and declined and the function of every single auxiliary word has change too.
