Music and human being have close relations, without music couldn't have perfect living. Music is the expression of the soul and it is satisfied the needs of the spirit. Basically speaking, the character of musical education is not fostering a person of ability but a person, which is achieved by the way of art education. The function of music education is the affect that music education acts on human and society. According to the nature of music education, the functions have two kinds: aesthetic function and unaesthetic function. The two is merged from beginning to end. The result of the function lead to is the effect of music education. In the first place, music education can mould a person's spirit; in the second place, music education can promote the development of social civilization. Music education is the education for human. The basic aim of it is for the humans'full-development and the advance of society.
