Jing De Zhen was known as the only porcelain handicraft city that prolonged for 1000 years in the world . Duing the Ming and Qing Dynasties the political coloring of the city was very weak . Jing De Zhen was founded not as a county , either as an important military fortification. With the economic development of Jing De Zhen , the Trade Associations were flourishing . Comparing with the other organizations , the Trade Associations were not only the strengest , influncedest , and dominated the most portions of public area in the city , but also the government needed the help of the Trade Associations to control the local society . So the Ttrade Associations played a very important role in Jing De Zhen . This dissertation analyses the emerging reasons and the characters of the Trade associations and discusses the relations between the government, the Chamber of Commerce and the Tade Associations, especially explores the question of the public area that is the relation of the traditional Trade Associations and the Public Power of the Society and Country .
