Heidegger persisted in the meaning of Being for life and developed the question of Being to the extreme. It is because Being is neither beings nor being of beings, but Being as Being itself, that is, nothing. For Heidegger, his philosophy is his aesthetics. Heidegger's aesthetics thought is divided into three periods, that is the early, middle and later period. Every period has different themes. The theme at the early period is the inquiring of Being, at the middle period is the unconcealing of truth, and at the later period is the listening to language. Heidegger's aesthetics thought at the middle period is represented mainly by "Way in Forest" (especially "The Origin of the work of Art"). He makes the historic truth uncealed by revealing the nature of work of art in virtue of the method of reduction of phenomenology. Firstly, he analysed thing, then he analysed equipment. Lastly he analysed work. Heidegger indicated that art is the happening of truth. Beauty is the truth setting itself to work. Truth as world and earth striving is unconcealedness of Being. Truth is not prepositional truth in traditional significance. Here, truth is taken as opening concealed by itself. This aesthetics of Being let beauty break away from correctness, morality and set itself to Being, ie, possibility of human dwelling.
